Head of Finance | Bournemouth (Hybrid) | £85,000 + Bonus + Car Allowance

Rubicon are delighted to be supporting a global leader in cybersecurity, as they seek a Head of Finance to join their senior leadership team. This is a pivotal role with significant influence, shaping both strategic and operational success across the UK business.
As Head of Finance, you’ll work closely with the leadership team to drive profitable growth, optimise business processes, and ensure data-driven decision-making. You’ll lead a talented finance and sales operations team while playing a key role in strategic planning, performance management, and continuous improvement.

As Head of Finance, your responsibilities will include:
Leading and developing the Finance and Sales Operations teams to deliver high-quality outputs and performance.
Partnering with the Managing Director to prepare and manage annual business plans and budgets in line with global growth objectives.
Overseeing financial performance, forecasting, and KPI analysis to ensure sustainable profitability.
Managing and monitoring commercial contracts
Providing timely, accurate financial and operational reporting to support data-led decision-making.
Coordinating forecasting, planning, budgeting, quoting, and order processing across the sales organisation.
Supporting cross-functional projects and initiatives to enhance efficiency and drive continuous improvement.
As Head of Finance & Business Operations, your experience will include:
Professional qualification (CIMA, ACCA, or ACA) or equivalent experience.
Minimum 5 years’ experience in a senior finance role, ideally within the IT or technology industry.
Proven success leading financial and operational teams.
Strong analytical, commercial, and strategic planning skills.
Excellent communication and leadership abilities, with experience working alongside senior management.
Working knowledge of systems such as NetSuite, Salesforce, Sage Payroll, and Sage Pensions.
High attention to detail and a proactive, solutions-driven approach.
Desirable experience:
Experience working within a multinational or matrix organisation.
Exposure to process improvement or digital transformation projects.
Knowledge of the cybersecurity or technology sector.
