Job Description
We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-established business who are seeking an experienced Head of Finance to join their team on a full-time basis. This is a hybrid position requiring three days per week in the office, based in Cambourne.
This is an excellent opportunity for a senior finance professional to lead and develop a finance team, provide strategic insight, and play a key role in driving the financial performance of a growing and ambitious business.

Typical duties include:
* Overseeing all financial operations, reporting, and compliance activities across the business
* Preparing, reviewing, and presenting monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, budgets, and forecasts
* Providing commercial insight and analysis to support strategic decision-making and business growth
* Ensuring robust financial controls, processes, and reporting systems are in place and continually improved
* Managing cash flow, banking relationships, borrowing arrangements, and foreign currency exposure
* Leading and developing the finance team, ensuring a culture of accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement
* Managing relationships with auditors and ensuring compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements
* Supporting senior leadership with financial strategy, planning, and long-term forecasting
* Identifying opportunities for cost efficiencies, process improvements, and system automation
You will have:
* A recognised accounting qualification (CIMA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent)
* Excellent analytical, strategic, and leadership skills
* Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, with the confidence to work closely with senior stakeholders
* A proactive, hands-on approach with strong attention to detail
