I am delighted to working exclusively with a dynamic business seeking to recruit a commercially focused Head of Operational Finance to join its executive leadership team.
This exciting role offers an exceptional opportunity for a strategic finance professional to take ownership of finance and systems development working closely with the Board.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead all financial reporting, planning, budgeting, and forecasting activities
Provide commercial insight to support strategic decisions and business growth
Oversee the development and integration of scalable finance and ERP systems
Drive business performance through high-quality financial information and KPIs
Manage internal teams and external finance providers to ensure timely and accurate output
Champion innovation and process improvement in finance and ICT
Act as a trusted partner to the Board and senior stakeholders
Candidate Profile:
Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with experience in an SME environment
Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
Proven experience of P&L, balance sheet and cash flow ownership
Systems-focused mindset – experience with Sage, SAP, or similar finance tools
Hands-on and entrepreneurial approach with a commercial edge
M&A and systems implementation experience preferred
