Job Description
We are looking for a strategic finance leader with a strong background in financial services. The role of Head of Finance is to join a growing international financial services company, based in Leeds.
This is a hybrid role offering 3 days WFH, 30 days holiday + stats, BUPA and a highly competitive salary.
In this key leadership role supporting an experienced CFO you’ll be responsible for driving financial strategy, overseeing financial performance, and supporting senior decision-making across the business. You’ll lead and mentor a talented finance team including the Management Accounting, Financial Accounting, and FP&A functions.
As Head of Finance, you will:
Lead and develop a high-performing finance team across key disciplines
Own financial planning, reporting, forecasting and analysis
Ensure compliance with regulatory and financial reporting standards
Work closely with executive leadership to shape financial strategy
Deliver insight-led reporting to support commercial decision-making
Be a key voice in continuous improvement, system optimisation, and risk management
We are looking for
A fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
Proven experience in a senior finance role within financial services
Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop teams
Excellent knowledge of financial reporting, planning and control
Commercial acumen and strategic thinking
