Head of Food Safety & Quality - Glamorgan - c£65,000
Overview: Great opportunity to join a business that is going through huge growth and change. Providing operational leadership in food safety and quality across the site.
About You:
* A strong presence on the shop floor and have the ability to read the room.
* As Head of Food Safety & Quality, you will be qualified in food science, food technology or similar.
* Proven experience in food safety and quality management within UK food manufacturing.
* Experience of working with HACCP, BRC standards and food safety regulations.
What will you be doing?
* As a senior leader you will champion company values and promote a culture of accountability, innovation and engagement.
* Ensure adherence to food safety regulations, including HACCP, BRC standards and training.
* As Head of Food Safety & Quality, you will oversee food safety and quality management systems to ensure positive outcomes.
* Demonstrate a strong sense of urgency in driving initiatives forward ensuring critical priorities are addressed promptly and decisively.
* Drive innovation in food safety and quality standards. Driving continuous improvement and customer trust.
