Description
Develop and implement the strategic framework for Safety, Health, and Environmental management.
Provide expert technical advice and ensure legal compliance, supporting senior leadership in SHE matters.
Lead SHE committees and actively promote a proactive, safety-first culture throughout the organisation.
Collaborate with external stakeholders and internal departments to align on SHE priorities.
Conduct audits in high-risk areas and spearhead initiatives for continuous improvement.
Oversee SHE training programs, manage incident investigations, and ensure timely implementation of corrective actions.
Support the safe integration of new machinery and capital projects, ensuring full compliance with health and safety regulations.
Profile
NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent) and IEMA Associate Certificate.
Chartered Member of IOSH (CMIOSH) status preferred.
3-5 years of experience in Safety, Health & Environmental roles, ideally within a manufacturing environment.
In-depth knowledge of ISO 14001 standards and UK environmental legislation.
Strong communication skills with proven ability to influence, negotiate, and lead effectively.
Proficient in data analysis, project management, and professional report writing.
