Head of Interior Architecture Job in SW London
A new Head of Interior Architecture job is now available in SW London. The role will involve managing a small team of interior architects, overseeing every stage of the design process and delivering high-end luxury projects. Salary of £65,000 - 80,000 DOE.
My client has a contemporary luxury style to their work and cover all stages of the design process from concept through to installation. They work on private residential and residential development projects in London and are currently looking for a design-led interior architect to join them on a permanent basis.
Role & Responsibilities
Managing the IA team, monitoring team performance, addressing issues, and providing constructive feedback
Collaborating with the Head of FF&E and other team members throughout the live of the project
Producing/checking all technical packs before submission ensuring quality and company standards
Tracking and ensuring that all project deadlines and targets are met
Creating a detailed project schedule that outlines tasks, milestones, and deadlines
Maintaining design intent consistency from concept through completion, overseeing design quality at all stages
On site visits.Required Skills & Experience
10+ years' experience working on high end projects in London
Client-facing experience including leading design presentations, meetings, and correspondence throughout the design and building works stages
Strong experience and leadership in managing a design/interior architecture team
Practical knowledge of how to execute design intent including an in-depth understanding of construction methods
Proven experience producing and overseeing the development of design packages from concept, tender, and design intent construction detailing
On-site experience including full delivery of projects from concept through to completion
Proficiency with AutoCAD, Adobe Suite and SketchUp.What you get back
Salary of £65,000 - £80,000 DOE
Holidays: 25 days + BH
Mainly office based with the opportunity to work from home when needed
