Head of Property Repairs and Maintenance – Rotherham - £53,100

As part of the Senior Management Team, you will lead on delivering high-quality, efficient, and customer-focused property repairs and maintenance services.

Responsibilities
Develop and implement maintenance strategies, ensuring quality, compliance, and cost-efficiency
Lead and inspire the repairs and maintenance team, fostering collaboration and accountability
Focus on delivering resident-focused services, using feedback to drive improvement
Ensure adherence to UK housing regulations and health and safety standards
Oversee budgets, ensuring cost-effective use of resources
Build strong relationships with contractors, staff, and residents to enhance service delivery
Skills and Qualifications Required
Essential:
Extensive experience in a senior maintenance role, ideally within housing
Strong knowledge of UK building regulations and health and safety legislation
Proven ability to lead teams and manage budgets effectively
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills
Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel
Proficiency in data-driven decision-makingDesirable:
Relevant professional qualifications (e.g., CIOB, RICS)
Experience in social housing or housing associations
Familiarity with property management systems and IT tools
