Job Description
Jackson Hogg are working with a leading organisation to appoint a newly created Head of Financial Operations role.
This position will carve out the transactional and reconciliation activity from Finance and bring it under the wider Operations function. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up the operation from scratch — designing processes, building controls, and hiring a small team.
It’s not a traditional finance role, but it requires someone with a strong finance backbone — ideally from a shared service centre or transactional finance environment — who understands reconciliations, sub-ledgers, and control frameworks, and can build something scalable and robust.
* Lead all transactional and reconciliation activity
* Build and develop a new operational finance team
* Own the sub-ledger and control framework
* Act as the bridge between Operations and Finance
* Oversee key systems and drive process improvements
* Deliver MI, KPIs and assurance reporting
