Head of Operations: OFSTED & CQC - (Children & Adult Specialist)
Location: Travel between Lancashire
Salary: Between £70,000 - £80,000
Length: To Cover Maternity – Leading onto long term
An exciting opportunity to support during maternity cover, which could potentially turn into a long-term post with career progression.
Our client is seeking an exceptional leader with a proven background in both CQC (Supported Living) and Ofsted (Children’s Residential Care) operational business management.
Head of Operations: Overview:
As Head of Operations, you will oversee 4 Ofsted-registered children’s homes and play a pivotal role in driving quality, compliance, and innovation across services;
You will also take on certain CQC responsibilities during the maternity cover period;
Overseeing the operations, development, and overall quality and compliance of all services;
Driving the quality assurance agenda across services, including the strategic implementation of an electronic auditing system;
Leading the business development of new services, in collaboration with the Senior Leadership Team;
Ensuring the execution of policies and procedures, supporting operational services to overcome challenges and embed effective solutions;
Providing strong, supportive, and compassionate leadership to ensure safe, nurturing, and responsive care for all individuals we support.
Head of Operations: Skills and Experience Required:
We are looking for a collaborative, compassionate, and strategic leader with:
Excellent knowledge and experience of Children’s & Adults’ regulatory frameworks (Ofsted & CQC);
A proven track record in quality assurance and auditing portfolios of homes;
Experience as a Nominated Individual and/or Responsible Individual;
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management (or equivalent);
A strong, supportive, and professional leadership style;
A resilient, committed, and trustworthy approach to operational leadership.Must have Right to work in the UK with no restrictions.
