📘 Role Overview
As Head of Religious Education, you will:
Lead and develop the RE department, ensuring high-quality teaching and learning across Key Stages 3-5.
Inspire students to engage critically with philosophical, ethical, and cultural issues.
Oversee curriculum planning, assessment, and departmental improvement strategies.
Mentor and support staff within the RE team, fostering collaboration and professional growth.

✅ Candidate Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree in Religious Studies, Philosophy, or a related field.
Proven experience in a leadership or middle leadership role, ideally as Head of Department or Second in Department.
Excellent subject knowledge and the ability to deliver engaging lessons that challenge and inspire.
Strong interpersonal and organisational skills, with the capacity to motivate others.
