Are you a qualified Rugby Coach or PE Teacher with the passion to inspire young people through sport and team development?
Can you lead a successful Rugby programme, delivering high-quality coaching sessions, developing student athletes, and promoting physical education across the school?
Are you an ECT or an experienced teacher seeking a permanent opportunity within a supportive and high-achieving secondary school, with the opportunity to take on a TLR leadership role?
Head of Rugby – The Role
We are looking to appoint a Head of Rugby to join a successful and friendly team of committed teachers, lead the Rugby Academy Programme, and work with motivated students. The school has a strong history of success in Rugby and is recognised for its outstanding programme.
The successful candidate will lead Rugby across all age groups, plan and deliver training sessions, oversee fixtures and tournaments, and mentor staff involved in Rugby. You will contribute to the continued development of the department and promote both competitive and recreational extra-curricular provision.
The PE department is a recognised department of excellence with an innovative and engaging curriculum delivered across all key stages. There are strong partnerships with professional clubs, universities, and local clubs which complement the programme.
This role would suit both ECTs and experienced teachers, with salary offered on the MPS/UPS scale plus a TLR depending on experience.
