Location: Redbridge-based Secondary School
Salary: M1 – UPS3 plus TLR 1C (Outer London)
Start date: September 2026
A Redbridge-based secondary school is seeking a Head of Science to lead a large and successful department offering Science at KS3–KS5, including A-Level and BTEC pathways.
This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious and experienced science educator to shape curriculum development, inspire a skilled team, and ensure outstanding outcomes for all learners.
Key responsibilities:

Lead the strategic development of the Science curriculum.

Drive teaching excellence and high expectations across all science disciplines.

Monitor and evaluate performance data to improve attainment and progress.

Support and develop staff through mentoring and CPD.
About you:
