We are currently recruiting for an ambitious and inspiring Head of Science to join a successful secondary school in Redbridge from September 2026.

This is an exciting opportunity to lead a dedicated Science department within a supportive school that is committed to high standards, academic excellence and staff development.

The Role:

Full-time Head of Science position
September 2026 start
Leading and managing the Science department across KS3 and KS4
Responsibility for curriculum development, attainment and staff support
Opportunity to teach Biology, Chemistry or Physics specialism

The Ideal Candidate:

Holds UK QTS and relevant teaching qualifications
Proven experience teaching Science at secondary level
Previous middle leadership experience desirable
