Are you a strategic and compassionate SEND professional ready for senior leadership?
An outstanding secondary school in Andover is seeking a Head of SEN with vision, empathy, and leadership strength to coordinate SEND provision for September 2025. This role will place you at the centre of inclusive learning and multi-agency collaboration.
About the Role
You will lead a high-performing SEND team, oversee statutory compliance (EHCPs, Annual Reviews), and promote accessible, high-impact teaching across the curriculum. The role is supported by a full-time deputy SENCO and experienced HLTA team.
Duties Will Include

Leadership of SEND strategy and staff CPD

Deployment and development of intervention programmes

Ensuring high-quality differentiated teaching
*
Partnership with parents, carers, and external agencies
*
Line management of support staff and budget oversight
Ideal Profile

NASENCO qualification or equivalent leadership experience

Deep understanding of SEND legislation and graduated response

Ability to develop SEND systems and promote best practice
