Head of Social Science Required For An Academy In Bedfordshire
Strategy Education are working on behalf of an 11 – 18 academy who require an inspiring leader to take on the role of Head of Social Science for the new academic year. Applications are welcome from those who have experience of working in line with the British National Curriculum and are looking to take on a middle leader role.
The Academy is based in Bedfordshire and there is a real focus on staff wellbeing, collaborative practice and creating a climate where teaching and learning is calm and engaging. They school are committed to delivering the highest level of education and are part of a wider trust who have systems and mentors in place to ensure full support is given enabling extensive opportunities for career progression.
The successful candidate will be offered a permanent role, you will be employed directly by the school and paid in line with Teachers Pay and Conditions. You will be expected to deliver a positive learning environment for all students and to teach mathematics through the secondary key stages including examination level students
The successful candidate will have a relevant undergraduate degree and will be subject to a variety of checks including, eligibility to work in the UK an enhanced DBS and full references including one from your most recent teaching placement.
