A government department client is looking for a Head of Supply Chain Architecture to join them on a 6 month contract. This position will be in Bristol/hybrid.
Job Summary:
Minimum Requirement:
Experienced supply chain professionals.
Defence background.
Ability to work independently.
Strong stakeholder management at all levels, internal and external.
Knowledge of defence processes.
Experience in leadership roles within complex environments.
Industrial supply chain senior levels within defence market.
No people management.
Technical specialist.
Public sector (IDEALLY) preferably defence.
MCIPS not essential. Skills Required
Experience of performing at a high-level over a sustained period, in a large organisation which has a complex and uncertain operating environment.
A proactive self-starter, able to generate and execute work concurrently.
Strong prioritisation skills, able to manage own outputs and time.
Deep supply chain knowledge and experience.
Strong commercial awareness.
Defence industry experience highly beneficial.
Knowledge of defence organisational design, processes and procedures would be highly beneficial
