My leading client is looking for an experienced Interim Head of Sustainability to lead on a range of sustainability initiatives. You must have passion about creating a sustainable future for the business, understanding the impact this role will have on the UK sustainability agenda and therefore the global sustainable development targets. You must be able to develop and implement strategies to enhance environmental performance and drive sustainable practices throughout the organisation, with particular focus on areas such as TCFD, GHG and ESG.
Key areas and background
Proven ability to execute sustainability strategies aligned with the company's goals
Demonstrable experience in sustainability management within a large and complex corporate environment.
Experience on sustainability strategies across a broad range of issues including biodiversity, waste, social mobility, human rights, greenhouse gas reporting and transition plan creation and evaluation.
Lead initiatives to reduce environmental impact, improve resource efficiency, and promote sustainable practices.
Excellent understanding of environmental regulations and sustainability standards.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Ability to develop and implement strategic sustainability initiatives.
Experience in stakeholder engagement and change management.
Analytical skills to assess sustainability performance and impact.
