Head of Technology Operations - 12-Month FTC
Location: Buckinghamshire (2-3 days per week on site)
Salary: £95,000 - £110,000

An excellent opportunity to join a commercially minded, customer-focused organisation under a newly appointed CIO, as they reshape and modernise their technology capability.
As Head of Technology Operations, you'll lead the infrastructure, service delivery and business systems teams - ensuring operational stability today while driving the organisation's shift towards a service-based, value-driven technology model.
You'll play a key role in moving from a traditional ITIL-led environment to a more agile, DevOps-enabled approach, enhancing responsiveness, automation and collaboration. The organisation operates as a Microsoft house, so strong knowledge of Microsoft cloud and infrastructure technologies (Azure, M365, Windows Server) is essential.
You will:
Lead and develop teams across Service Desk, Infrastructure and Business Systems
Champion a service-based approach, embedding customer experience, accountability and measurable value
Drive operational improvement and process efficiency, aligning technology with business outcomes
Oversee vendor performance, budgets and commercial relationships
Partner with Security, Product and Transformation teams to deliver strategic initiatives
Be instrumental in shaping the future direction of Technology Operations and building modern capabilityAbout you:
