Location: Diss, Norfolk
Job Type: Full-Time | Permanent
Salary: c£80K negotiable + excellent benefits
Are you a strategic and hands-on leader with a passion for operational excellence? We’re looking for an experienced Head of UK Operations to lead our manufacturing activities across multiple UK sites.
In this key role, you'll drive performance, ensure high safety standards, and lead continuous improvement initiatives. Your leadership will directly contribute to the success and future growth of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead all UK manufacturing operations across multiple sites
* Foster a strong safety culture, working closely with the SHEQ team
* Drive operational efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness
* Mentor and develop senior management teams (5 direct reports, 50 indirect)
* Ensure operational alignment with company strategy
* Oversee performance management and resource allocation
* Collaborate with procurement, technical, and finance departments
* Contribute to strategic planning and decision-making
What We’re Looking For:
* Proven experience in a senior manufacturing leadership role
* Background in electronics or automotive industries (preferred) or similar technical manufactured products
* Strong track record managing multi-site operations
* Degree in Business Management or equivalent experience
* Excellent leadership, coaching, and team development skills
* Deep understanding of manufacturing processes and systems
* Experience in EHS (IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent preferred)
* Strong communication, performance management, and process improvement skills
