With ambitious plans for further international expansion, the business is seeking a dynamic Head of Warehousing to drive operational excellence and support long-term growth.
The Opportunity
This is an exciting chance to join during a period of transformation and expansion. As Head of Warehousing, you will:
* Lead a critical supply chain function
* Ensure OTIF (On Time In Full) delivery performance
* Maintain stock accuracy above 99%
* Drive efficiency through innovation and process optimisation
* Oversee large-scale warehouse operations, including goods in/out, online and international orders
* Collaborate seamlessly with manufacturing and logistics partners
This role requires a hands-on leader who can balance strategic vision with operational detail, inspiring teams while implementing robust systems and processes.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Excellence
* Ensure all customer orders are dispatched on time and in full
* Oversee goods in/out processes
* Manage online and Amazon orders with international compliance
* Drive stock accuracy above 99%
Leadership & Team Development
* Lead and support warehouse staff and agency personnel
* Implement SOPs and training plans
* Set KPIs and monitor performance
* Develop personal growth plans for staff
Agency Management
* Liaise with staffing agencies to maintain manning levels
* Approve timesheets and ensure inductions
Continuous Improvement
* Monitor KPIs and initiate improvement projects
* Conduct LEAN analyses
* Propose machinery and technology upgrades
Health & Safety
* Maintain a safe working environment
* Drive improvement plans for safety compliance
Person Specification
* Strong time management and planning skills
* Proficient in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
* Excellent IT skills (Microsoft Office Suite)
* Proven problem-solving ability in production/logistics
* Minimum 3 years’ supervisory/management experience in warehousing or supply chain
* Hands-on, proactive leadership style
* Reach/Counterbalance FLT licences desirable
