Head of Year (Non-Teaching)

Job Role:

Overseeing the welfare and progress of a specific year group, ensuring a positive and inclusive learning environment
Supporting students with their academic, social, and emotional needs, providing guidance and pastoral care
Collaborating with teachers, parents, and external agencies to address individual student needs and concerns
Organising and coordinating year group activities, events, and assemblies
Implementing and monitoring behaviour management strategies, working closely with the pastoral team
Promoting positive behaviour and maintaining a strong sense of community within the year group
Tracking and monitoring student progress, providing regular feedback to students and parents
