About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and inspirational Headteacher to lead a specialist SEMH school in Salisbury. This is a pivotal leadership role, responsible for driving high standards of teaching and learning, fostering a positive school culture, and ensuring the best outcomes for students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs.
Responsibilities:
Provide strategic leadership and vision for the school.
Ensure high-quality teaching and learning across all areas.
Oversee safeguarding, behaviour management, and SEND provision.
Manage staff development and performance.
Work closely with governors, parents, and external agencies to support student progress.Requirements:
Proven leadership experience within an SEMH or SEN setting.
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and NPQH (or willingness to complete).
Strong understanding of SEMH strategies and SEND legislation.
Excellent communication, organisational, and decision-making skills.
