Job Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and inspirational school leader to take on the role of Interim Headteacher at a thriving, inclusive primary school in a southwest region city based primary school on a 6 to 12 month FTC.
This is a one-form-entry community primary school with a strong sense of belonging and commitment to every child. The school has a well-established Resource Base provision which serves pupils with Autistic Spectrum Condition (ASC) and Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN). This provision includes dedicated therapy and sensory spaces, bespoke outdoor areas, and well-equipped classrooms designed to meet the needs of children requiring additional support.
The successful candidate will:
* QTS qualified
* NPQH advantageous
* Provide strong, visible leadership across the school community.
* Champion inclusive practice and ensure all pupils, including those within the Resource Base, receive an ambitious, high-quality education.
* Inspire and motivate staff, pupils, and families with a clear vision for school improvement and development.
* Demonstrate proven experience of effective school leadership, ideally within a primary or SEND context.
* Work collaboratively with the governing body, staff, parents, and the wider community to maintain the school’s welcoming and supportive ethos.

* Passionate about inclusive education and committed to raising achievement for all learners.
* Able to maintain high standards of safeguarding, wellbeing, and teaching and learning.
