Headteacher (SEND)
An established specialist education provider is seeking an experienced Headteacher to launch and lead a new independent specialist day school in Oldham, supporting pupils aged 5-16 with a range of SEND needs.
Ideal start date: Feburary 2026 (no later than February 2026)
School opening: Post-Easter 2026
Part of a well-established group operating 13 other SEND schools across the UK
Salary: £75000 - £85000

Proven experience as a Headteacher or similar leadership role within a SEND school or specialist setting
Strong understanding of school improvement, effective curriculum design and development
Robust knowledge of the Independent School Standards
Ability to inspire, motivate and support staff using a person-centred approach
A pro-active, results-focused mindset
Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills
