Role: Health & Safety Advisor
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000
Location: Lacock, Wiltshire
Working Hours: Monday – Friday
We are on the lookout for a Health & Safety Advisor to join our team based in Lacock, Wiltshire. This is a key role to support the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of health and safety procedures and practices across the organisation; ensuring compliance with current legislation and promoting a safe working environment for all employees.

Role & Responsibilities:
* Assist the Health & Safety Manager in the development and implementation of H&S procedures, standard operating procedures and risk assessments in line with legal requirements and best practices.
* Support incident and accident investigations, ensuring root causes are identified and corrective actions are implemented.
* Maintain and update safety records and documentation, including risk assessments, method statements, and safety data sheets.
* Support the Health & Safety Manager in the implementation of behavioural safety initiatives and continuous improvement programs.
* Assist with emergency preparedness activities, including fire drills, evacuation planning, and first aid response coordination.
* Support environmental and sustainability initiatives as required by the Health & Safety Manager.
* Promote a proactive safety culture by encouraging near miss reporting and positive safety behaviours.

* Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced production environment.

Qualifications / Experience:
* Minimum 2 years in Health & Safety co-ordinator/advisor/admin role
* Experience within Food Manufacturing (desirable) / FMCG or Manufacturing background (essential)
* NEBOSH General (or working towards)
* HACCP
* Working knowledge of relevant health & safety legislation
* Microsoft programmes including excel, PowerPoint etc
