Health and Safety Advisor Stratford upon Avon
A growing organisation in the Rail sector is currently seeking a Health and Safety Officer/Manager to join their team. They are looking for someone with a good Health and Safety background who can support their continued growth and form part of the governance team to lead the company’s occupational health and safety initiatives across their sites.
The role can either be based out of Stratford upon Avon or Crewe.
You will be involved in;
* Working to continuously improve and oversee the occupational health and safety management system and documents aligned with ISO 45001 framework
* You will champion a positive culture on sites in line with company vision and values
* Leading health and safety initiatives and improvements across the business
* Driving continuous improvement in safety performance at our sites and prepare regular safety performance reviews and KPIs
* Maintaining the site safety risk register and assessments for workshops and tasks involved in rolling stock refurbishment
* Led health and safety audits, inspections and toolbox talks
What they are looking for;
* Previous experience in a Health and Safety role in either Rail, similar engineering
manufacturing or production based environments.
* Ideally you’ll have NEBOSH or other formally recognised Health and Safety qualification
* You will have strong knowledge of HSE legislation, and ISO Standards
* Driving Licence and willingness to travel between sites
* Strong analytical and problem solving skills and able to communicate effectively across the business and to 3rd parties.
The role is offering salary circa £50k plus 25 days holiday, contributory pension schemeBefore You Apply
