Health & Safety Assistant Bedfordshire Monday to Friday – 40hour week £40-55k DOE + company vehicle & fuel card Are you an aspiring Health and Safety professional looking for the next challenge? The Company Ganymede Solutions are pleased to have partnered with a successful civil engineering firm supplying to some of the big players within the commercial and industrial sectors across groundworks, new build and roadworks. This is the perfect time to join this business as they have just signed up to a handful of exciting new projects valued between £1m to 30m! They pride themselves on providing a high-quality service and building strong relationships with their clients. The Role and Responsibilities As the Health & Safety assistant, you will be supporting the health and safety and wide operational divisions including the projects team and wider team including projects, to provide expert, independent guidance across multiple projects in a customer facing environment. Some of the projects you will be involved with are with new build homes, access roads and groundworks. As the Health and Safety assistant, you will be required to travel to multiple sites across the region including the occasional trips back to the head office. Additional responsibilities include of the health and safety assistant: Support the senior management team in achieving the company health and safety objectives Promote a strong and positive presence through positive safety culture and visible leadership and engagement Conduct RAMS, risk assessments and record/monitor near misses and safety observations Compliant and up to date with legislations and company policies About You You will be an experienced Health and Safety assistant within Civils Construction Sector Strong knowledge and experience within groundworks would be advantageous Must be NEBOSH certified within general and or construction What’s in it for you?
