This is a hands-on, operationally focused role where you'll be on site, working closely with Operational Managers, Field Managers, and Install Teams to embed best practice and drive a positive safety culture in a fast-moving environment. Health & Safety Manager Key Responsibilities
Carry out regular site visits, inspections, audits, and investigations, ensuring risks are identified and managed effectively.
Support and coach Operational Managers, Field Managers, and Installers to raise safety standards on the ground.
Lead on incident investigations and implement corrective actions to support continuous improvement.
Own and enhance all aspects of Health, Safety & Wellbeing across office, warehouse, and field-based operations.
Deliver engaging H&S training, toolbox talks, inductions, and refresher sessions to staff and contractors.
Act as the primary liaison with regulatory bodies, client H&S teams, and external auditors.
Develop, review, and maintain policies, RAMS, procedures, and safe systems of work.
Provide expert advice on UK H&S legislation and industry best practice, influencing teams at all levels.
Champion a positive safety culture, encouraging safe behaviours and embedding compliance across a growing organisation.About You
A passionate Health & Safety professional looking for career progression and broader responsibility.
Strong communicator with the confidence to challenge, influence, and support managers and field-based teams.
Sound knowledge of UK H&S legislation, risk management, and practical safety controls.
Organised, self-driven, and comfortable working autonomously in a fast-paced, growth-focused setting.
NEBOSH Diploma or working towards it (minimum NEBOSH General Certificate essential).What's on Offer for the ideal Health & Safety Manager
