An experienced Health & Safety Manager is required to lead and manage all safety, health and wellbeing activities on a major nuclear and civil infrastructure project in Whitehaven. The role focuses on ensuring full compliance with UK legislation, nuclear site requirements and project safety standards within a highly regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities
Lead the development and continuous improvement of the project Health & Safety Management System.
Provide expert safety advice to the Project Director and senior leadership team.
Conduct site inspections, audits and assurance activities to ensure full compliance.
Lead investigations into accidents, incidents and near misses, implementing corrective actions.
Review and monitor RAMS, construction safety documentation and high-risk activities on site.Requirements.
Proven experience in Senior Health & Safety positions.
Previous experience on Nuclear related projects.
NEBOSH certified
CMIOSH highly desirable
Lead Auditor certified desirable
Location: Whitehaven
Permanent: Full Time, 40 hrs
Salary: circa £71k (dependent on experience) + £5.7k Car Allowance
