Job Description
Our client is a leading multinational engineering services provider and general contractor who employ over 2,000 professionals with an overall turnover of €1 billion in 2021 and deliver leading-edge construction solutions across a range of key sectors including Data Centres, Healthcare, Life Sciences and Technology, Fire protection, Building Services, and Technical Support Services. They are currently seeking a Health and Safety Manager to join them on projects in Germany.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for -
* Liaising with subcontractors and clients
* Managing a team of HSE professionals
* Managing subcontractors and vendors
* Developing method statements, risk assessments, safe plan of actions, permit to work, LOTO, etc
* Carrying out regular site audits and inspections and following up on any corrective actions
You will need -
* To have relevant third level Certificate qualification in Environmental, Health & Safety
* Over 5 years’ experience in environmental, health and safety on large construction sites with Tier 1 contractors
* NEBOSH certificate level qualification
* Thorough knowledge of current environmental, health and safety legislation
* Data Centre Experience is desirable
