Health And Safety Manager
Location: Ansell Way, CV34 4UL
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Duration: 4+ Months
Working Hours: Mon – Fri, 09:00 – 17:00, 37 Hours per week
Pay rate: £ 24.23 per hour

Responsibilities
Develop and implement health and safety policies and procedures in alignment with legal requirements and best practices.
Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to ensure compliance with safety standards across facilities and environmental services.
Provide training and guidance to staff on health and safety practices.
Investigate and report on incidents and accidents, implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
Collaborate with various departments to promote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility.
Maintain up-to-date records of health and safety incidents, inspections, and compliance activities.
Liaise with external regulatory bodies and ensure timely submission of required documentation.
Person Specification
Proven experience as a Health and Safety Manager, preferably within facilities and environmental services.
Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation and best practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
Relevant qualifications or certifications in health and safety management.
