As a Health and Safety Officer, you'll…
Champion a positive health and safety culture across all departments
Conduct site inspections, risk assessments, and audits
Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions (RIDDOR)
Maintain and update H&S policies, procedures, and training records
Manage COSHH, DSEAR, LOLER, PUWER, and fire safety systems
Oversee environmental compliance and waste stream management
Maintain ISO certifications (ISO9001, 14001 & 45001) and support BSI assessments
Conduct internal audits and manage non-conformities
Prepare management review reports and respond to customer ISO queries

Solid knowledge of UK Health & Safety legislation and best practices.
NEBOSH General Certificate or IOSH equivalent
Working for manufacturing businesses is essential
