Health and Social Care Teaching Role – Andover Start Date: After October Half Term or January 2026 Contract: Long-Term until July 2026 Pay: £160 – £250 per day (depending on experience) Location: Andover Hours: 8:00am – 4:00pm, Full-Time Position: Health and Social Care Teacher Location: Andover Overview: Supply Desk is delighted to be working in partnership with a welcoming and a secondary school in Andover, seeking a Health and Social Care teacher to join their team. This is a full-time, long-term role starting after the October half term or from January 2026, continuing through to July 2026. You will be teaching engaging Health and Social Care lessons to KS4 students, with the opportunity to support learners studying the subject at A-Level. The school prides itself on its nurturing environment, high standards, and strong pastoral care. They are looking for a teacher who can inspire students, foster curiosity about the health and care sectors, and bring lessons to life with real-world context. This position would suit an experienced teacher or an Early Career Teacher eager to grow within a supportive school community. The school would also consider unqualified teachers or instructors with relevant experience in Health and Social Care or a related field. Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver creative, thought-provoking Health and Social Care lessons that build understanding and confidence. Support students’ academic progress through effective assessment and constructive feedback. Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment, promoting respect, empathy, and ambition. Collaborate with colleagues to enrich the curriculum and take part in school activities where possible. About the School: This mixed secondary school in Andover caters for students aged 11 to 18 and is proud to hold a ‘Good’ Ofsted rating. The school has a strong community spirit, supportive leadership, and a clear commitment to professional development.
