Pay: £160-£225 per day (dependent on experience)
Empowering Learning are working in partnership with a welcoming secondary school in Oldham to recruit an enthusiastic and dedicated QTS Health & Social Care Teacher for a full-time position starting in September.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a supportive Health & Social Care department from September through to Christmas, with the possibility of an extension and the chance to become permanent for the right candidate.
The Role
You will be responsible for delivering engaging and inspiring Health & Social Care lessons to students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, creating a positive learning environment where all pupils are encouraged to achieve their full potential and develop their understanding of health, wellbeing and care.
The Successful Candidate Will Have:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Experience teaching Health & Social Care across KS3 and KS4.
Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
A genuine passion for Health & Social Care and inspiring young people.
The ability to plan, deliver and assess high-quality lessons.
Strong communication and organisational skills.
The ability to engage and motivate students through practical and theoretical teaching.
Requirements:
An Enhanced DBS Certificate registered on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
Two professional references covering your recent employment.
The right to work in the UK.
What We Offer:
Competitive daily pay of £160 to £225 per day, depending on experience.
A full-time role from September to Christmas.
Potential for the role to be extended, with the opportunity to become permanent for the right candidate.
