Health and Social Care Teacher
Tradewind Recruitment are recruiting for a part time Health and Social Care teacher for an excellent partnership school in the East Riding of Yorkshire, who require a Key Stage 5 Health and Social Care Teacher for a Wednesday only. Planning and marking is negotiable for this role and may not be needed, so payment for this role will be between £160 and £232.56 per day depending on experience of the candidate, and responsibilities that are discussed upon meeting the school. This placement is temporary, will commencing on 3rd of September, and last for the full academic year.
This role will involve teaching Health and Social Care to Key Stage 5 students, specifically Year 12 students. This will be either A Level or BTEC Level 3, depending on finalising of timetables. More cover may be available at the school on other days (general cover) depending on the desire of the successful candidate. The ideal candidate will have experience teaching post - 16 Health and Social Care and be qualified to PGCE Level.
The school is part of a small local academy trust, and has a fantastic reputation. As one of the few schools to still have their sixth form, they are very proud of it and the provision that they offer to their students. It is a very short drive from Hull and is available on the train. There is a large onsite car park for all candidates who drive. Student behaviour is strong, particularly in the post 16 provision.

Have experience working within schools in the UK.
Has experience supporting within UK schools
Has experience teaching Health and Social Care to Key Stage 5 students
Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
