About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate and dedicated Health and Social Care Teacher to join our Outstanding school in Coventry from January 2026. The successful candidate will deliver BTEC Health and Social Care across Key Stages 4 and 5, providing high-quality, engaging lessons that inspire learners and prepare them for further study and future careers in the health and social care sector.
Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver dynamic, inclusive lessons aligned with the BTEC Health and Social Care curriculum.

Support students in developing both practical and theoretical understanding of the subject.

Track progress effectively, providing constructive feedback to ensure excellent outcomes.

Create a positive and supportive learning environment that encourages all students to thrive.

Contribute to the wider life of the school, including enrichment and departmental development.
About You
We are looking for a teacher who:
*
Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
*
Has experience teaching BTEC Health and Social Care at Key Stage 4 and/or Key Stage 5.
*
Demonstrates strong subject knowledge and a commitment to high-quality teaching and learning.
*
Is enthusiastic, organised, and able to motivate and inspire students of all abilities.
*
Works collaboratively as part of a forward-thinking and supportive team.
