Lecturer in Health and Social Care
Full-Time | 37 Hours per Week | Gloucestershire (Gloucester, Cheltenham & Cinderford Campuses)
Salary: £27,432 – £40,795 per annum + Excellent Benefits
A well-established and highly regarded further education college in Gloucestershire is looking to appoint a dedicated and passionate Lecturer in Health and Social Care. The Role
You will deliver engaging and informative lessons to Level 2 and Level 3 Health and Social Care students, supporting them to develop the knowledge and practical skills needed for careers in the sector.
Key responsibilities include:
Teaching Health and Social Care to Level 2 and Level 3 learners
Planning and delivering high-quality, engaging lessons
Assessing student work and providing meaningful feedback
Supporting learner progression into further study or employment
Contributing to curriculum development and team collaboration
Requirements
A relevant degree in Health and Social Care or related subject
PGCE or Level 5 Teaching Qualification (TQ)
Proven experience teaching Health and Social Care
Strong understanding of the Health and Social Care sector
Ability to engage and motivate learners across a range of abilities
Desirable
Experience teaching within a further education setting
Nursing or clinical background
