Farmfield Hospital provides specialist medium and low secure services for men detained under the Mental Health Act. The hospital offers extended treatment and rehabilitation for individuals with complex mental health needs, helping them build a safe and solid foundation for long-term recovery.
🔹 About the Role
We are recruiting Healthcare Assistants / Support Workers to join the care team at Farmfield Hospital. You will work within a secure environment, supporting male patients through their rehabilitation journey with compassion, professionalism and resilience.
🔹 What You’ll Be Doing
*
Supporting men with complex mental health needs within medium and low secure units
*
Assisting with daily living, personal care, and therapeutic activities
*
Observing behaviours, reporting changes, and adapting care with the clinical team
*
Participating in ward rounds and contributing to patient reviews
*
Ensuring safety, structure and consistency across the ward
*
Maintaining accurate, detailed patient records
*
Promoting dignity, respect and recovery-focused care at all times
Working in a secure service can be challenging, so vigilance, resilience, empathy, and a calm approach are essential.

Previous HCA/Support Worker experience (secure or mental health settings preferred)

Mandatory Training
