Health & Safety Advisor
Location:Lincoln / Peterborough / York (site travel required)

OH Medical is working in partnership with a well-established, family-run construction business to recruit an experienced Health & Safety Advisor.

The Role

As a Health & Safety Advisor, you’ll be a key part of the EHS team, working closely with site management to ensure a safe working environment across a range of construction projects.

You’ll take a hands-on approach, providing practical guidance, conducting inspections, and supporting teams to continuously improve safety standards across the business.

Key Responsibilities

  * 

    Promote and maintain a safe working environment across multiple sites

  * 

    Ensure compliance with company H&S policies, procedures, and regulations

  * 

    Carry out regular site inspections and audits

  * 

    Provide competent advice and support to site teams and management

  * 

    Investigate issues and support resolution of H&S concerns

  * 

    Liaise with external consultants and stakeholders

  * 

    Report on site performance and key safety updates

  * 

    Build strong working relationships across all levels of the business

Requirements

  * 

    Proven experience within the

    construction industry (essential)

  * 

    Strong communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills

  * 

    Confident, proactive, and able to work independently

  * 

    Experience supporting audits (desirable)

  * 

    Ability to manage multiple sites and priorities
