Health & Safety Advisor 🚧 Health & Safety Advisor – Construction Projects (Europe Based) 📍 Location: Site-based across UK and European projects 🏗 Sector: Construction / Building Envelope 📅 Start Date: ASAP 💼 Employment Type: Full-Time 💰 Salary: Competitive, with travel and accommodation covered We’re recruiting on behalf of a respected specialist contractor operating across major European construction projects. They are looking to appoint a dedicated and proactive Health & Safety Advisor to ensure the highest standards of safety are maintained on site. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified safety professional to take ownership of site safety across multiple European projects, working hands-on with operational teams to drive a positive safety culture. 🔍 The Role: * Monitor and enforce compliance with all health & safety legislation, company policies, and project-specific requirements * Carry out regular site audits, toolbox talks, and safety inspections * Maintain and continuously improve the company’s internal Safety Management System * Support and deliver wellness and mental health initiatives across the workforce * Keep the plant and equipment register updated, ensuring all certifications are valid * Manage PPE distribution and tracking across all teams and sites * Deliver comprehensive safety inductions for staff and subcontractors * Investigate and report incidents, accidents, and near-misses, ensuring corrective actions are implemented * Stay ahead of legislative updates and ensure timely integration into the business * Present site safety performance and updates directly to senior management * Champion a behavioural change culture through proactive, engaging communication * Oversee CRL yard/stores area in collaboration with the Stores Manager * Participate in regular internal Health & Safety meetings 🎓 What We’re Looking For: Essential: * Level 7 Degree in Occupational Health & Safety (or equivalent) * Minimum 5 years of Health & Safety experience within the construction industry * Excellent understanding of construction safety best practices * Strong organisational and communication skills * Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) * Valid driver’s license * Willingness and flexibility to travel across European sites Desirable: * Familiarity with Microsoft Project * Experience with Safe-T-Cert or similar safety accreditation systems 💡 Why Apply? * Work on diverse and challenging construction projects across Europe * Be part of a team committed to continuous improvement in health and safety performance * Help shape a forward-thinking safety culture with real impact * Competitive salary, travel expenses, and accommodation provided * Work closely with leadership and be a key influencer in business-wide safety standards 📨 Interested?
