Health and Safety Advisor
Norwich
Circa 32 hours per week (4 days, hours to be discussed at interview)
Up to £33,000
A well-established manufacturing business in Norwich is seeking a Health and Safety Advisor to support site-wide health, safety, and environmental compliance.
The role includes:
Maintaining the risk assessment register, SOPs and COSHH documentation
Conducting audits, inspections, and coordinating safety walks
Advising managers and employees on HSE matters and legal compliance
Investigating incidents and reporting findings to senior management
Supporting environmental compliance and continuous improvement initiatives
Providing input to projects, site initiatives and HSE trainingRequirements:
Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role, ideally within a manufacturing environment
NEBOSH qualified (or working towards), IOSH essential
Strong IT skills and experience in reporting and analysis
Confident communicator with the ability to influence at all levels
Solid understanding of HSE legislation and practical implementation on siteThe position is based on site in Norwich and is offered on a circa 32-hour week over 4 days. Flexibility is expected to meet operational needs.
