An opportunity to lead Health Safety & Facilities in the UK for global logistics organisation with presence in over 27 countries. The role will be based from Middlesex and there will be national travel the company's 16 depots UK wide.
The Health Safety & Facilities Manager will be responsible for:
Overseeing the implementation, review, and compliance of the Safety Management System (SMS) and Quality Management System (QMS) across company locations, ensuring alignment with regulatory standards.
Coordinating internal and external audits, maintain accurate records, and ensure SOPs and work instructions are current and accessible.
Facilitating risk assessments, investigate safety events, promote safety culture, and ensure corrective actions are implemented and tracked.
Organising health & safety and facilities review meetings, monitor safety performance, and ensure site security and documentation integrity in line with company and legal requirements.
The Health Safety & Facilities Manager will have:
Minimum of five years' recent and relevant experience in a similar health and safety role, including managing internal audits, investigations and facilities
Ideally NEBOSH Diploma, but we are willing to look at candidates working at NEBOSH General Certificate
An understanding of CDM regulations and practical experience in CDM site setup and implementation.
Proven ability to formulate, implement, and revise health and safety policies and procedures, ensuring regulatory compliance.
