Health & Safety Manager
 Cambridgeshire | £50,000 - £55,000 + benefits

Most Health & Safety Managers spend their career maintaining someone else's system. This one's different — you'd be building it.

This food manufacturer's H&S function has been ticking along, but the business is growing and they know it needs to go to the next level. So they've created a brand new Health & Safety Manager role — reporting into the Senior Leadership Team, owning the function outright, with a blank page to build the strategy rather than inherit someone else's half-finished plan.

You'll cover the full spread — PUWER, COSHH, RIDDOR, DSEAR — but the real job is bigger than compliance. It's building a safety culture people buy into rather than tolerate. Coaching managers to lead safety with confidence. Getting near-miss reporting up because people trust the process. Making audits a non-event because the site's always ready.

What you'll need:

Solid H&S experience within food manufacturing or FMCG
NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent)
Chartered IOSH desirable but not essential
The backbone to hold the line when it's easier not to

£50,000 - £55,000 depending on experience
