£80,000 - £85,000

gap construction are seeking a Health & Safety Manager to work with a renowned main contractor who are known for their strong presence throughout London & the Home Counties.

Performance Objectives
Take full responsibility for the development, implementation, and continual improvement of Health & Safety procedures across all projects.
Monitor and audit safety practices on-site to ensure compliance with legal regulations and internal standards.
Deliver Health & Safety training and inductions to site teams and subcontractors.
Lead on investigations into incidents or near misses, producing detailed reports and action plans to mitigate future risks.
Ensure the business is operating in line with current legislation, updating policies as required.
Act as a key advisor to senior leadership on all Health & Safety matters.Person Specification
NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent qualification is essential.
Proven experience in a Health & Safety Manager role within construction or a similar environment.
Excellent knowledge of UK health and safety legislation and industry best practices.
A proactive, detail-focused approach with the ability to identify and resolve potential safety issues before they escalate.
Strong communication and leadership skills, able to influence teams at all levels.
Professional, well-presented, and confident in client-facing situations.Apply
