Job Description
Kennet Solutions are supporting a Highways contractor in their search for Health & Safety Manager.
This person will lead the H&S aspect of a £25m turnover business, located in Kent.
The role will largely be office based, with occasional site travel across Kent/Essex & London.
* Championing a “Safety First and Foremost” culture across all operations, ensuring it's visible and embedded in everything we do
* Supporting and advising Managers and Supervisors on their H&S responsibilities, with a hands-on, coaching-led approach
* Conducting occasional site visits to review safe working practices and ensure full compliance with our Health and Safety Management Systems
* Acting as the go-to expert for H&S matters in your region — the first point of contact when significant issues arise
* Building strong relationships across teams to promote a positive, proactive safety culture
* Attending operational and client safety meetings, briefings, and performance reviews
* Driving continuous improvement in safety standards and practices, contributing to the delivery of our wider SHE strategy
