Your Role: As our Health & Safety Manager, you will play a pivotal role in:
Conducting regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Reviewing site-specific risk assessments and method statements (RAMS) provided by contractors.
Investigating incidents and near misses, generating detailed reports, and recommending corrective actions.
Maintaining accurate records of inspections, incidents, and training.
Liaising with site managers, subcontractors, and clients to foster a safe working environment.
Assisting the H&S team with data collection, KPI tracking, and trend analysis.
Delivering training sessions and presentations.
Supporting the H&S team in updating documentation, policies, and procedures.
Helping retain company accreditations, including ISO:45001, RoSPA, and SafeContractor SSIP.
What We're Looking For: To be successful in this role, you should possess:
NEBOSH National Certificate in Construction Health and Safety.
Technical Membership of IOSH (Tech IOSH).
SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme).
First Aid at Work Certification.
A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
Up to 3 years of experience in the construction industry, ideally in interior fit-out projects.
Key Skills & Attributes:
Strong understanding of UK health and safety legislation.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Confidence in engaging with site teams and senior management.
A flexible approach, willing to work weekends and out-of-hours as needed.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products; experience with the Safety Culture (iAuditor) platform is a plus.
