Health & Safety Manager
Location: North West England
Salary: £45,000 – £60,000 + Package

We are a growing specialist contractor delivering external envelope solutions across the UK. With a strong pipeline of remedial and new build projects, we are now looking to appoint an experienced Health & Safety Manager to support operations across the North West.

This is a key role within the business, offering the opportunity to shape and drive a positive safety culture across a varied portfolio of construction projects.

The Role

As Health & Safety Manager, you will take the lead on all health, safety, and compliance matters across multiple sites, ensuring best practice is embedded throughout the business.

You will work closely with operational teams, providing guidance, support, and oversight across both remedial and new build construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

  * Lead and promote a strong health & safety culture across the business

  * Conduct regular site inspections and audits across projects in the North West

  * Ensure compliance with all relevant health & safety legislation and company policies

  * Produce and review RAMS, risk assessments, and method statements

  * Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, implementing corrective actions

  * Deliver training, toolbox talks, and ongoing guidance to site teams

  * Work closely with senior management to continuously improve H&S performance

  * Maintain accurate records and ensure full documentation compliance

About You

  * Proven experience in a Health & Safety role within the construction industry

  * Strong working knowledge of UK health & safety legislation

  * NEBOSH General or Construction Certificate (or equivalent)

  * Experience conducting site audits and managing compliance across multiple sites

  * Confident communicator with the ability to influence and engage teams

  * Proactive, organised, and detail-oriented approach
