Job Description
Health & Safety Officer – Construction Sector (Scotland-Based)
Lock Global is proud to be working in partnership with a leading multidisciplinary construction group, specialising in energy efficiency, fit-out, mechanical & electrical, fire & security, renewables, and property maintenance.
Operating across the UK, our client delivers services directly to local authorities, housing associations, energy providers, commercial businesses, and major retail groups.
Following recent contract wins and continued business growth, our client now has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Health & Safety Officer to join their team.
🔧 Key Responsibilities:
*
Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with Health, Safety & Environmental (SHE) regulations
*
Audit site documentation and safety procedures
*
Generate clear and concise performance and inspection reports
*
Ensure all identified safety observations and actions are effectively closed out
*
Coordinate and manage health & safety training across the workforce
*
Collaborate with operational teams to promote a strong safety culture
✅ Requirements:
*
Previous experience in a SHE role within the construction industry
*
NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent qualification)
*
Valid CSCS card
*
Full UK or EU driving licence (minimum 2 years’ experience)
*
IOSH Membership (preferred)
🚗 Additional Info:

The role involves travel to sites across Scotland
*
A fully expensed and maintained company vehicle will be provided
