Health & Social Care Trainer
Hours:40 hours per week – fixed term maternity cover.
Salary: £28,000
We are a fast growing, luxury healthcare provider looking to expand our established team. We are currently looking for a highly organised and enthusiastic trainer, to deliver a wide range of courses to all staff across our care homes.
As an excellent communicator, you will be expected to deliver engaging training sessions that meet mandatory requirements.
With an AET Level 3 (or equivalent teaching qualification) you will have previous training experience in a social care environment and exceptional all round IT skills.
Some of your duties will include:
* Delivering a range of health and social care courses to staff across all homes, including but not limited to Induction, Moving & Assisting training, Fire safety, Record keeping, and Safeguarding.
* Complete and maintain accurate records on our LMS platform.
* Ensure knowledge of legislations & regulations relating to Health & Social Care are up to date.
* Regularly review all training and explore different kinds of delivery methods, evaluating and reporting on successes and making recommendations when required.
The role may be based at any one of our homes in Oakham, St Neots, Potters Bar, or Welwyn Garden City. However, you will be required to travel to all of these locations to deliver training onsite, therefore a driving license and access to your own car is essential (mileage will be reimbursed).
As a highly efficient and resilient individual you will have a strong work ethic and be able to work on your own initiative. You will have a proven eye for detail and accuracy and be used to a busy workload and meeting deadlines.
